We've had our Droids since mid-November and (mostly) love them. HOWEVER, since I downloaded 2.2 AND when I'm on another screen, my phone will ring but I am totally unable to answer the call. The call also does not show up in the call log--not urgent maybe but I'd like to return the calls. DH does not have this problem. In our business we HAVE to be in touch, especially both accepting and returning calls.

Please send help or a lifeline before the DROID goes in the ocean, never to be seen or heard from again!

ill take it if your gonna throw it away mine broke

what i could suggest is a reboot, battery pull, or data wipe cause im assuming you didnt do so after upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2

Welcome! You are not the first individual to complain about the inability to answer calls. Here are a few things to try.
If you have a task killer remove it.

Dial the *228 and update your roaming and data.

Call CS or go to a VZW store and ask them to reactivate or step you through the process (10 or so steps, I think). First and foremost the Droid is a phone and if you can send or receive the value is lost.
