The more i look up the more im learning. I rooted my droid and the rom wouldnt work so my friend attemped to help me. he ended up clearing my cache and restoring my phone to stock settings. Now the phone goes in a loop from the press the droid and activate your phone screens. Ive tried to do a nandroid backup but not only can i not get in my phone but i go into stock recovery mode which apparently wont allow me to perform a nandroid backup. i would b very appreciative if someone could help me

Did you do a Nandroid backup before starting? If so, restore that first.

Have tried the basics like puling the battery. Also try clearing cache again and doing a factory reset. If you can get into recovery after a battery pull. Sometimes aftef rooting it can leave behind some rediuals.Good luck
