It is time to get a replacement?

Ok so i was getting on the bus and my droid fell about 2 1/2 feet out of my pocket onto the ground. Now i can turn it on but the screen is black but i still can hear notifications and the vibrations from the apps and the keyboard comes on but not the screen...Do i need to go to asurion and get a new one or is there something i can do?

If you have insurance... call a claim. They'll send out a new device and you ship back the old one.

Yeah thanks but i have a rooted droid it that going to be aproblem

If you are going to VZW it may be. If you are going to Assurance I believe you will be ok.

Asurion doesn't care about root, just your co-pay. If it's going to Verizon then flash stock SBF and turn it in.
