Issues with speaker on my Moto Droid

Whenever I call somebody it sounds like the speaker is blown while its dialing, its almost brand new. Should I take it back and get a new one, or is this a common problem?

I am also having this problem. I get crackling when the phone rings and when the other person talks... Any suggestions?
