issue with the droids accelerometer vibrating

I have no idea how it happened but randomly whenever I turn my phone off and then back on and basically whenever I move/shake the phone it vibrates... even when all sounds are off it still does this. Anyone know how to make this stop? I've looked in the settings and stuff but I can't find anything
