Isssue on Sapphire 1.1.0

I was having the issue as well with the Android icon not doing anything but that was when I tried updating without clearing data/cache, so I went back and did that 5x, reinstalled the ROM and kernel, and once everything was up and running, installed Gapps. Ever since then it's been running great.

Has anyone been having any trouble with the speakerphone microphone not working? I can talk fine with speakerphone off, but when speakerphone is on they can't hear me. I also deleted the google quick search apk but am still getting install unsuccessful when I try to install it from the market. Any suggestions...

You're welcome Mr. O ... I added that because when I realized that you can get everything flashed seveeral times before actually booting it up, it goes quicker.

You can do the ROM, Gapps, and even a kernal, however I typically would advise to do the rom and gapps, and then boot to get everything running, you can then go back and do a theme, kernal, etc.

But you get it, it's much better then rom, boot up, reboot to recovery, etc.

No issues with speakerphone for me here patm ....

Having the DSP Equalizer enabled for phone will screw up notification sounds. Does on mine at least and who knows what other system sounds would be affecfed

Upgraded from 1.0.0 to 1.1.0 on Friday and have been running it since. No issue thus far, aside from the redraw thing that some have noted(running launcher pro), had this aswell with 1.0.0. But its no deal breaker. And also still have the music rocker issue a few times. I am using the the 250-900LV kernel, same as 1.0.0. Been playing around different theme(was using Black bar), ended up currently using the Drop Theme and I like that a lot.

Yeah music controls still wig out if you let go to early or turn the screen on immediately after changing songs...makes me sad. It is still a great feature to have though

Okay...

After 2 Hours and some change ive given up on this ROM.

Why?

Followed instructions to the T. Still couldnt get things to work
correctly.
CW backup, renamed to update, wiped, installed booted, restarted,
CW backup, restarted, wiped cache, installed google apps, booted up,
went through the questions and sync'd, logged in immediately to settings,
changed performance to power on demand and uppped the min to 8,
everything froze.

Restarted, closed apps, cleared cache, google sync became active,
everything froze again.

Tried again with CW wiping 3 times, fresh install of 1.1.0, same senerio,
phone freezes, also is very hot above battery. Tried pushing 1.0 kernal
with standard voltage, everything would freeze after about 60 seconds
give or take.

:( I tried, im new to all of this, any ideas...?

Note: while installed 1.0 kernal the screen flashed a slash diagonally
across the screen? bad?

I recoverd from nandroid back to 1.0 and everything is cool 20 mins
strong so far...

Reboot into recovery, go into the partitions menu and format system/boot/data/cache, then press the power button once.

Next, install the rom and gapps package WITHOUT rebooting or wiping in between installations. After both are installed, reboot.

If that doesn't work, I would suggest re-downloading the files from your computer as it could just be a bad download...

Followed steps...

Prior to signing into Google to Sync I imported my
contacts from SdCard...
Google Sync activates in bar, everything freezes.
No response from power button or home button. >:(

I really hope this is my phone messin up and not the ROM.

Get rid of CW and go to SPR ....

I doubt which recovery he installs it from will make a difference here. Clockwork has become stable enough that people should use it without worrying. Now Rom Manager is another story still... It was during the time Clockwork updated every other day that clockwork was unstable.

I use both CW and Rom Manager without problems.
