After 4-5 attempts and the constant Android Error, I finally got Nougat on my 6P from the 'beta' trick. I had to factory reset but meh...I was probably going to do that anyways.

It happened AFTER the download was complete and installed and then the 6P restarted. I have an inkling it had to do with the fact that I required a passcode before even starting Android. One time after the update, it would simply keep restarting back to that passcode screen but never fully start (hence why I had to do an FDR). I'm alright with it.

I thought mine was better because I had a call this morning, but then I made another call later & got complaints of being muffled, so now I'm not sure what to think...
Yeah, I've noticed it is the 'luck of the draw' when you get it. Probably also dealing with what apps I had installed or what-not. It's all good, I had my backups and everything set up anyways.
