Is there anything faster then PDANET? too slow for me

no, not the download speed, just the time it takes to refresh a website, for instance i posted a ticketmaster link back there and it takes like 5-6 seconds to refresh the site

ok i rooted the droid, no clue what to do from here thought i read the wifi tether guides but come up empty

Visit the wifi-tether site on your droid and download the latest release. The Droid should prompt you to install it. Run it, give it su permissions, and tether away.

i installed it and connected to it but no internet....
also the log shows it fails at enabling nat rules and enabling access control when i click start tether...

i guess i need a different net enabled kernel? but i cant even follow those directions since sholes.info doesnt even work anymore
