Is there any way to turn off the "slide" to answer feature??

When using the car dock, there is an option to just press "answer" or "ignore" for incoming calls. Is there a way to make the default way to answer the phone?? I'm not a fan of the slide to answer feature!!

Thanks in advance!

Hmm I may try that... I like the slide lock though... have a baby who likes to grab my phone... ha!

I don't use the car dock, mine only comes up with the slide for answering a call on the first call after a reboot.

You can of course use a headset, then it wouldn't matter, you just hit the button on the headset to answer.

So what does yours do after the rest of the calls after the first initial slide??

Mine actually just did the opposite.. i had rebooted my phone this morning, got a call and it was the "push to answer/ignore" option like in the car dock.. then the second call was slide....

Headset is only useful if i'm driving.. i'm saying i would like mine to be push to answer always even when i'm NOT driving.

After the first call after a reboot, then I get the answer or ignore button.

Headsets are always useful, you don't have to hold the phone and the person on the other end doesn't have to deal with background noise from the speaker phone.
I hate holding the phone to my head, it's too big and gets too hot. I've been using a headset for years now.

Hmmm... weird that mine does the exact opposite..

When I'm driving or extremely busy I use a headset.. BUT it's not bluetooth.. I've got some headphones with built in mic.. works great but I don't just carry those around with me..

Ah. Mine is BT, I use it all the time, I can even have it read my incoming text messages.
