Or a tutorial on how to remove the clock from the notification bar? I hate the waste of space because I have a great looking widget on the screen.

Thanks

I just did it myself. Started to loose my tiny little mind when my boot animation kept looping. Then just as I was about to drop back 10 yards and punt, it came up. no clock. Sweet!

sorry to hear that. i tested it before i posted. i did notice my boot took a little longer than usual. the only other way i saw floating around had to do with an .xml edit (somewhere in services.jar, something about making the clock text black) which is a little beyond my depth

Any idea what build the services.jar file this mod replaces came from?

I'm on 2.3.340 and I don't want to be replacing system files from older builds.

System version? ROM? Screen shot?

Does anyone here have a different battery icon in the upper task bar. The circular battery icon shown by fabolous in the link was dope.

Now I'm thinking it's geared towards custom ROMs.
