Is there an Android App for iPhone-Style Popup Push Notifications?

Hi Fellow Android Users!

Firslty, thanks in advance for your help. I am an ex-iPhone user who's recently converted to a Galaxy S4. I love my new phone, but I miss the old pop-up push notification system of iPhone (See image below).



The nature of my job is such that it's important that I respond to emails from my boss very quickly. I want an app that can give me a pop-up notification every time my boss (and only my boss) sends me an email. The iPhone has a feature called "Priority Inbox" which allows you to select certain contacts, and enable push notification for only them. Can anybody recommend an app that can perform the same function?

Been using lite for my SMS popup and works great. Pro version enables gmail popups. It has a customize contact option, but don't know how that feature works.
