Is There a Definitions Thread For Newbies

I am really new to the advanced new fangled phones so new I have not got my phone yet.

I have been reading this forum for a couple days and some of the terminology yawl use leaves me lost. Is there a thread that has the definitions to some of the jargon used????

I am trying to decide which Droid to get. I am thinking a starter.
