I happened to be perusing classifieds in other forums, and found ALOT of people wanting to trade their gNex for a RzrMxx...or simply selling a gnex and wanting to buy a

RMxx. As my title states-is the Maxx that good-or- much "better" (than the gnex-if you will) that perhaps it is making people want to trade out their gnex for a rMXX.

I am about to get a gnex (or something new) but I am torn between a gnex and a rMax. What gives??;)

Battery and screen on maxx makes it last two to three times longer on single charge. Plus the fact that it has superior radios then nexus making the phone to have better signal and call quality. Other then that, nexus ICS is much better operating system. So you have to choose between superior hardware or software. If razr maxx had ICS on it right now, I'd dump nexus in a heartbeat.

It will but not anytime soon.

But if you are willing to wait then yes the Max is going to be even more great once it does.

FYI DroidTh3ory has ported AOKP ICS to the RAZR. The only thing not working ATM is the camera. But it should be shortly. I flashed it last night. ICS on the RAZR is pretty sweet.

My wife has maxx, I have nexus. Both are great phones but damn that battery on maxx is awesome. Same up time and screen time my nexus is in single digits, my wife's maxx is in 40s.

Outside of the onscreen buttons it is pretty much the same ICS experience as the Gnex. And I had one for almost 2 months. And the ROM was just released a few days ago. To have everything functioning outside of the camera is pretty darn good. I am sure the camera will be working in short order.
