Is rooting it worth it to me?

I had a Droid 1 rooted with CM7 before my Dinc2. The only reason I'd root is to freeze or remove the bloatware. The phone still flies even without doing this. I do run GO launcher instead of the HTC launcher. Just wondering.

Yeah, the amount of bloatware on the DInc2 is pretty absurd, if you ask me that's reason enough to root. Also, just FYI, my Quadrant scores are almost 50% higher running Cyanogenmod 7 (~2500) than they were with the stock Sense ROM (~1700), even without any overclocking.

Combine that with the ability to make App and ROM backups, and I'd say rooting is well worth your trouble.
