Is my Droid Rooted?

I followed a video of how to do it, but how can i check and see if it is rooted?
I try to download the update.zip file and when i try to run it while in recovery mode it aborts.
I attempted to root it a few months back but wasn't sure if it worked. What can i do to see if it is?

Easiest way, open your app drawer and look for a ninja icon thats labeled "superuser permission"

Edit: Upon closer inspection, thats a SWAT guy with an M16, not a ninja

check in your app drawer if there is an app called superuser permissions if it is there then it is rooted if it is not then sorry my friend, but you are not rooted.

if you are rooted then a reason why it might have aboreted is because you may have accidentily named the file update.zip.zip check to make sure because that might be the case.

Ha, I thought it was a ninja too. I'm using a theme that changed the icon, so I can't check what the original was right now. But I'll take your word for it.
