Is it me or...

Skins have a bad rep, cause when they first came out they were resource heavy and the hardware they were on couldn't keep up. Over the past two years the manufactures have been ironing out stuff and making it better.

Moto blur honestly isn't that bad. I think it's fine just like the other skins.

I got the new blur on my DX back in April and I liked it so much I stopped changing roms. It is super smooth!

I don't like it, this is my first Blur phone and I couldn't wait to drop the extra bulk

Agreed...the old Blur prevented me from ever wanting to own an X/X2...which is what I had really wanted for awhile but never made the leap. I made the switch to AT&T for a bit & tried out the Atrix...horrible lag. Then went to Virgin Mobile & tried the Triumph, no blur whatsoever & that phone was snappy as hell. Then the Razr came out & I fell in love so switched back to Verizon. This phone however is smooth as silk, zero lag on anything yet...feels like it doesn't even have Blur on it.

Agreed, people get in a mindset from the past and do not give the new a chance. This is a very nice phone. You have to use the features to learn how to tame it.
