Welcome!

If you're using chrome, google may still have browsing history on their servers, but other than that, I'm not sure of a way to recover it either.

Thanks guys sweet of you to welcome me so nicely...

Dont want to believe what your saying..even though I no its probably tru!

Why doesn't android cater for index files or at least something similar :(

I'm going off it right now I tell you..lol

I use it on Chrome and Firefox. Chrome has been acting strange after the last couple of updates so I have been using FF more often. The OP uses FF as well.

Good call. I forgot that point. I've had no issues with chrome myself & it's my favorite, but your advice makes more sense for the OP.

Chrome intermittently overlays an opaque layer on my internet searches everytime I have been using it for more than 5 minutes. It stops searching and I have to kill Chrome and then restart it because even if I kill the tab and try another one it overlays it again.

Strange. Are you using the beta? I've had no issues, though I search more from Google now unless I'm already in Chrome.
