Quick introduction - I'm new to forums in general but found this one which looks pretty good!

My name is Eli manifold - melicat for fun. And I need some help recovering my deleted browser history if poss on moto g and firefox

I know about dat readers for windows os but as far as android platform is concerned I can't find any info

Help greatly appreciated TIA !!

As far as I know there is no way to just recover the history.

If you're using chrome, google may still have browsing history on their servers, but other than that, I'm not sure of a way to recover it either.

Why doesn't android cater for index files or at least something similar

Firefox has a sync feature you may want to look into. It will save your bookmarks, history, passwords, open tabs and installed add-ons and make them available between devices.

As I said above, chrome does the same.

I use it on Chrome and Firefox. Chrome has been acting strange after the last couple of updates so I have been using FF more often. The OP uses FF as well.

Good call. I forgot that point. I've had no issues with chrome myself & it's my favorite, but your advice makes more sense for the OP.

Chrome intermittently overlays an opaque layer on my internet searches everytime I have been using it for more than 5 minutes. It stops searching and I have to kill Chrome and then restart it because even if I kill the tab and try another one it overlays it again.

Strange. Are you using the beta? I've had no issues, though I search more from Google now unless I'm already in Chrome.
