lol i try. just an fyi there aren't really any viruses on the android platform, there have been a few instances of malware but they were discovered and snuffed out pretty quickly. so if you have the virus scanner constantly checking for viruses then it will be wasting some energy and resources.

Ahh, I kinda figured but I was a lil concerned about some of the media I download,, shared files etc...

the only place you really have to worry about is the apps you download. get everything out of the market and not random websites, and pay attention to the permissions they ask for and you should be fine. also try to download apps that have a higher rating and lots of comments.
