For me it depends on where I am, especially in my house.

1. are you in a 4G area?
2. prior to your Bionic did you have a smartphone? and if so, did you lose 3g connectivity in your house?
3. do you live on the "outskirts" of town so-to-speak?

If your tour did not lose connectivity like you're experiencing right now and if you're still within your 14 days I would strongly suggest you call *611 and have them send you out a replacement before you invest any time in trying to fix an issue which might be nothing more than a faulty CDMA radio.

When your Internet connection "goes" are you showing any data connection at all? There is currently a known issue some people are experiencing when their Bionic loses both 3G and 4G for no apparent reason. Sometimes for only a few seconds or a minute, other times until they reboot, other times longer...

Welcome to the party. This is a known issue for some Bionics.

If you do not have 4G, then turn off the 4G radio, reboot it and see if it improves.
Settings->Wireless & network settings->Mobile Networks->CDMA only

A reboot or battery pull alone might fix it but try the above too. If the problem is still there get a replacement.

This happens to me too. I'm in a new 4g area, so its hard to tell if the kinks are getting worked out or if my phone is having an issue. Is there anyone here that uses the browser alot and has no problems?

I use the browser a lot and have no problems but the 4G signal is pretty strong for me both at home and work. Strong and reliable enough that I often leave wifi off.
