Internet not working... clear cache?

The internet on my Fascinate won't work. This has happened once before and I found an answer that involved clearing caches, but I can't figure out how to do it again. I would rather NOT do a factory reset. Don't you lose all your information? Saved pictures, texts, etc? Clearing caches worked last time... Anyone know how?

If you are referring to the 3g network both mine and my coworker's don't work either. VZW might be doing something to their network.

Have you tried just pulling battery? Factory reset doesnt wipe anything on sd such as pics and music. It will wipe contacts and apps. And yeah, if you have any 3g signal issues that will affect internet.
