Clearing cache

Hi guys,

When I had my Droid X, it would reboot several times a day.
But by clearing the cache (using Zdbox) i was able to eliminate the reboots.

I know zdbox is a task killer and task killers drain battery.
I think this is the reason why my razr only lasts me 5 hours.
But, how do I clear my cache without using this app?

How do you clear cache on the charge? And is there such a thing as clearing temp files on this phone? Thanks!
