Intermittent text message issue

I am having an occasional issue where text messages that are sent to me don't show up in my message box. My notification goes off but nothing shows up. Took awhile for me to realize what was happening but I have now verified with a few people that sometimes they send a message, my notification sound goes off, but the message never actually shows up on my phone. I was on rooted .901, just had .902 pushed to me this morning so no idea if that changed anything. Anyone have a similar issue or any insight?

I'd wipe data and re-apply the 902 update.

Same issue happened once for me since on 902.
