Ok so i have these little scratches on my droid x and i pay the $5 a month insurance on it. Does anyone know what exactly the insurance covers? Id like to get a new one but i know that the little scratches arent enough for a replacement.

Read the terms on the insurance provider's site. You don't mention who you're using. If you purchased through Verizon it's Asurion.

Don't forget about the deductible if you have one. Also, some insurance policies limit the number of claims you can file per year. If your phone has only cosmetic damage and you get it replaced, what will you do if something major happens to your replacement?
