Installing Kernel

I rooted my Droid 2 and tried to install a new kernel (Chevy Low Volt 1.25) but I keep getting errors that say "failed to verify whole-file signature" , "signature verification failed" and I can't find a clear answer to my problem. There was also an error that said "Can't open /cache/recovery/command. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You cant change the kernel on a droid 2, the bootloader is locked.

are u trying to use a droid 1 kernel on the droid 2?

Now that you mention it, it probably is a droid 1 kernel. It was a kernel for froyo.

Is overclocking safe for my droid 2? Is it worth it?
