installing hboot drivers

trying to re-root my incredible and im told to:

  • Click Start, then right click on Computer, then click Properties, then click Device Manager.
<LI class=level1>Under Other devices, you should now see the Android 1.0 device, similar to the picture below


but there is no "other devices" listed, is there another way to do this or a way to make it show up?

im at work and dont realy have the time to do it when im home, is it due to not being an admin on my work PC ?

im trying to re-root my phone due to i lost my stock backup, im currently at the point where i install the hboot drivers but my computer will not let me, do i need to log into my computer as an admin or is there another way to do it?
