individual ringers for texts

Like the title suggests, I was wondering if the was a way to set individual ring tones from contacts incoming texts. I found how to change the call ringer, but not the texts

If you like the stock sms app, you can try ringo lite. You can control both ring tones and notifications for different contacts.

So does anyone think this is a feature they may bring into an update? I know alot of smart phones already have the feature. I just think it's weird they didn't include it
