In pocket and out pocket detection show latest email

Hey all, I am a regular email user and used to blackberry auto lock in pouch and out pocket to show latest email.

I know driod have in pocket detection and just bought a pouch case without magnet as I know droid will detect it as dock. But I don't see in pocket detection works while in pouch, and how does it do out pocket unlock to show latest email? Any apps could be use to get it done? Please advice, thanks
