In Amazon Alexa app how can you call an echo dot

I can have the exho door call the app on the cell phone but not the reverse .
Is it possible and if so how

you should be able to do a drop in from the app to the dot. See if the following has the info you need.

Pretty close to what I want but here is more info on the problem

An Alexa network can only have two household profiles
To call a contactin an Alexa network say an echo dot associated with a profile the profile must be associated with a cellphone number

If I have only one profile and one cell phone number I can't call my echo dot but the dot can call my cell phone that I am logged into with that profile

Anybody have any ideas on this situation

I know nothing when it comes to different profiles. I would suggest going to the unofficial amazon echo user forum. there are a lot of advance users there that deal with profiles
