I'm new!!

Hello, I'm new. I have the Motorola Milestone, the OS is still 2.1. I have been thinking of unrooting my phone. I was wondering what the poors and cons of doing this is. Also my cell provider is Viaero, not sure if this makes a difference. I have been in touch with them about when the update to 2.2 was coming and they can not tell me. Any help would be greatly appreciate

Welcome to the forum. If it was me, I'd stay rooted. Beyond not having total access to your phone, dont really know any cons.

Welcome to the forums...id stay rooted also just an opinion but a dev might if not already will get you to 2.2 bfore your carrier does...thats the case with my phone i have a Droid Incredible rooted and im running gingerbread already...
