I'm a newbie but I want my free wifi tethering! My x is currently 2.1. It says an update to 2.3.15 is available. (I'm assuming this is what gets me the froyo 2.2 firmware?) I told it to remind me in 12 hours.
Based on the fact that I'm not brilliant... should I let it update now, and then try to root it? Or do you suggest trying the rooting now?
