If the Incredible is any indication, we probably will. However, we probably won't see it until the end of its natural lifetime, and the rollout will be very slow and plauged with setbacks and bugs. Also, VZW will hardly speak of it and eventually hand it off to HTC.

root it and you will get your hands on it much quicker than OTA if it is released and the inc2 developer community keeps up the great work they've been putting out for us lucky jokers

Rumor has it that most devices released this year on Verizon will get it at some point. Google has said (with a few exceptions) that any device that can run GB can run ICS. So will we see it? I am sure the devs will have it running in no time. As for an official release, I wouldn't bet on this year but likely early 2012.
