ICS this week?

+1 I've seen others ask for likes and usually don't get them. At least one member has it in his sig and isn't even getting any attention. If someone wants to like you, they will.

Lol, you crack me up, FoxKat. "Trolling for likes" but they're getting none.

Well, blow me down! You've been missed around here lately! Where have you been?

I already had liked it before posting a reply, although asking for a like almost makes me want to unlike it...but I won't since I really do like it. :p

If someone were to have gotten THE email, and back in February rooted their phone and unrooted within a day changing a single app that was later deleted, would it be necessary to do a factory reset? If so what will that reset delete? When upgrading to ics will it wipe my phone as well?

If you deleted a stock app you might be able to just put it back, if that doesn't work you'll need to FB/RSD back, a FDR won't help for this.

It was not a stock app. What would a factory rest do? Change settings, or delete everything? Also will my phone delete all that anyway when the ics update eventually comes?

Can you like a post from the Android app? I don't see where I can do that. Help?

Sorry for the off topic topic!

Can't wait for ICS!

FDR wipes all user data & apps. I know the earlier builds of ICS would wipe everything but I think the current build doesn't, maybe someone who has installed one of the newer builds that didn't do a FB prior can say what it does with old data.

The OTA update will not delete any of your personal information/files/apps on the device. The official updates are designed to update the OS while leaving your personal stuff intact. Leaks are, of course, a different story, but the actual OTA should leave everything intact.
