I do not know if this is coincidence or if there is an easy way to restore album art in the stock ICS music player. My stock music player has been missing since day one and I could not fix it.
Today, I was trying to get Google+ to automatically upload my pictures. I opened the app manager, force closed it, deleted the data, then started the app back up. Auto upload for pictures started working as advertised. I didn't think too much of it until a few minutes later, I went to open my music player and all of my album art was there!
So, my question is: can someone with a similar album art problem (missing art) run the Google+ clearing process described above and see if that is a fluke or a fix.
