Can't go wrong with color metal by StealthyChief icons. .. check Lustre as well

But I won't give up on you ..
1. Place icon on homescreen
2. Press icon ..Select from choices [other]
3. Pick icon pack and icon
4. Select app to launch
5 done and on homescreen

Does this work on all versions of Android?
