Icon lables cut off on home screen; can I auto fit them???

Hello all,

I have a rooted Droid 2 with squidy's ROM and I'm trying to figure out if its possible to expand icon labels on the home screen to two lines. I find it really annoying when labels underneath icons are cut off. Is there any way to "auto fit" the text?

Thanks.

I'm talking about the concatenated text beneath the labels. Is there a way for example to expand "SoundHou" to "Soundhound"? In essence, I want the app label to fit on the home screens so I see the full name of the app.

Screenshot below...

Thanks.

desktop visualizer will let you change the words them self where you could make it shorter but thats gonna be your only way really

Yes. The app Folder Organizer let's you change the name too. I think the paid version of LP let's you edit the names too.

ADW Launcher lets you change the font size of the icon lables, so you can shrink them to fit without having to name them.
