Icon fix for Nex-Tang Maps after the update...

I've asked in a couple places with no response, so I'll try this.

I run the Nex-Tang theme and love it. With the recent update to Maps, the custom icon for it included with the theme is overwritten by the default Maps icon. So, it no longer matches all the other apps on my screen and instead stands out like a sore thumb.

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to revert the icon back to the custom one myself without uninstalling the update to the app? Or is this something that I'll have to wait for an update to the theme before I can stand to look at it again?

posiblly re install the theme. im thinking that the icon is in the theme, so if you reinstall it it should redo the updated maps with the nextang theme's icon.

I did try that once but it overwrites the version of the app itself with the older version, so when it catches the update later it just happens again.
