I use my Droid for video blogging. But the microphone is on the opposite side of the camera from the lens, obviously, so the audio quality is not very good if I'm the one being video-ed. And if I'm more than a couple feet in front of the phone, I can't be heard at all.
Is there some way, or some app, or some method by which I can route the microphone output of a bluetooth headset or earpiece to the video camera application? I would even be willing to install a different ROM (Mod? Whatever? I'm new to the whole rooting thing.)
Telephony applications use the A2DP protocol. Is there a reason why other audio applications --like the camcorder app-- can't as well?
Thanks in advance.
