I just purchased this phone. I can't seem to get the actual root utility to actually root! I have drivers, and the Batman thing and the other one. What gives?
This will be on 3rd rooted phone. Not happening now. I just ota to the latest version.

I'm not sure I understand what software version you are on. Are you on Gingerbread .181, a leaked version of Ice Cream Sandwich or the OTA Ice Cream Sandwich?

You're using the right utility. Make sure that after you have downloaded the utility to your computer that you extract the .zip file to its own folder to c:// drive...don't try to run the .bat file from inside the .zip folder...on a windows machine (or Mac) it will usually not run correctly.
