i need help with a possible semi-bricked PSP3001

I have a psp 3001 that will turn on only for a few seconds then shut off, it does this on battery or plugged in. If anyone has any knowledge on this kind of stuff i'd really appreciate it. It has not been modded at all and hasn't been abused either.
