i need help in rooting my Motorola droid 1

Hey I'm new to the Droid world and I hear everyone talking about a rooted phone. I tried rooting my Motorola Droid 1 but have had zero success. This is my phone info, 2.2.1 FRG83D. Thanks for your help and plz try to put it in English for me, I'm a noob and this stuff.
