Ok so I found these distructions:

Is there a brave soul out there that will attempt this on a D2. 621 2.3.4 to see if it works?

My wife just got laid off so if I brick my phone, im S.O.L I can't afford even the upgrade.

It won't work. They are 2 different phones with 2 different sbf files.
