I know, two years old. Still a great phone. But I HATE how the app data storage is partitioned for only 150 MB. Who thought that was a good idea on a phone that has massive amounts of storage? It's gotten worse recently since I replaced the 2GB microSD card with an 8GB. I've had to delete several apps to make it not complain about "Low Memory" (clearly it's based on percentages)--which means no new Gmail. So, do I need to root to keep my phone viable? I have no problem with rooting, but hoping for advice here on what to do.
