That's one of the reasons why I didn't buy insurance when I bought my Droid in January!
I figured, if something catastrophic happened to my Droid, I would be able to buy one for around $150 within about 6 months time when prices dropped.... little did I know, the prices are LOWER than that within 3 months of my purchase!

although I always make sure I have the insurance, I dislike it. You get a refurbished phone, and the two times i have used the insurance, the phones still had issues...would be fine if you got a new phone...but ya dont
You can get a new droid for around 100 bucks, trust me. Plus, it's ridiculous that they give you a referb when the phone has defects anyways. I spent 300 bucks on a refurbished phone that still has issues.

Sorry but there's no way your buying a new Droid w/o a contract for anything less then $350 unless they fell off the truck haha If you can prove me wrong i would love to see that.
