I have a question . . .

I am running 1.13.605.7 Das_Bamf 1.5 debloat Desensed. it is awesome, ALL of that HTC crap is gone and I am golden, except for when my screen is locked and someone calls. That is the ONLY time I get reminded that I have an HTC phone. I must slide the lock bar up to reject or down to accept the call. i am soo happy with everything else. I really dislike the HTC sense stuff (friendstream, argh!) so i was really excited to get this ROM. However it IS A PHONE, so i get ALOT of calls and I am reminded each time with that LOCKSCREEN, that it is HTC.
Anyone know why this happens or BETTER yet have afix??? Am I being to picky?? or do other feel this way?

ROM really is excellent, despite this so thanks for that. Just wondering if an answer was out there. Thanks guys

I saw this on my phone and with a lack of a good title for you post. people have to view it to see what the question is. then they see that they don't know about that ROM /phone, so they don't answer.

I don't know much about the TB but sliding to answer a call is how Android works. So maybe you are being picky.

Well, i HAVE disabled the lockscreen. it is the Android sliders (side by side) However, when AND ONLY WHEN a phone call comes in do i see the HTC lockscreen. Kinda weird. Other than that, I have Android lockscreen.

well buddy unless you find a rom that is fully de-sensed, or learn how to 'fix' it yourself I believe we cannot help you.

Well, on the og droid on stock was a sliding tab: one tab on either side... a green tab to answer sliding left to right and a red tab sliding right to left to ignore the call... I would like to point out that cyanogen's rom allows for the customization of the lock screen and what it actually looks like eg, rotary (looks like a rotary dial, tabs like og droid, and the third one is a second custom version of the rotary screen, there might be a fourth style but can't remember)... but, I believe your question is how to get rid of the htc logo/branding on your lockscreen, right? I'm not sure due to your wording... but if you wanted to change the style of HOW your lockscreen then look for a rom/launcher that allows you too... however if you are looking for removal of branding from the lockscreen that's a custom job and you should research or find how or who can do it for you. I'm unaware of any other rom besides cyanogen's that allows customization of the lockscreen style... anyone jump in to correct me please... good luck!

and i have it EXCEPT when a call comes in and my screen is locked, then i get HTCs up down slider.


Im not trying to creat a big fuss here I simply find myself accidentally answering or ignoring calls that I do not want to when I take my phone out of my pocket. This did not happen on my original droid and I think it is because of the lockscreen set up.

Okay, here's some pratical advice: don't place the screen facing the inside of your pants! I suffered from the same issue however, I realized that it's possible that the phone reads my leg's heat as a really large finger and that's what's causing your accidental call acceptance and or denials... ironically I changed my droids standard tabs to your circular tab lol cause I had the same issue! so the best advice is to have you phone's screen face away from you... and don't grab you phone with your hand touching the screen instead use your fingers to grab the sides of your phone and pul it out of your pocket...
Still not happy? Okay then moving on:
let's walk you through this... what phone are you on? If you're on a htc incredible then jump roms and move over to cyanogen's rom anything after six is fine and will let you customize your lockscreen slider: I myself found it easy... it'll be on the main screen screen press the settings button then click cyanogen settings then look for lockscreen settings... and go from there! Come back if and when you have cm and/or questions...
