I cant update my droid x2

I see all over of things about new versions of android. My Droid x2 has 2.3.5 and whenever I check for updates it says that my phone is up to date. For some reason, can you not update the droid x2? Or is it just my phone messing up?

That is the latest for the X2, which I have also. The device is not slated to get ICS or Jelly Bean. Gingerbread forever!
