I can't find launcher pro anymore

I uninstalled LauncherPro and reinstalled it. But no matter what the only evidence I can find that it is on there is that it is listed in the uninstall list. It doesn't pop up in the home list or show anywhere else. What am I missing?

it does not show as an application. you need to clear the default for whatever launcher you are using now (in settings manage applications area) then next time you press home it will ask you what program to use.
launcher pro, if installed right, will be listed.

You could also get the app Home Switcher. If a home is properly installed it'll show up in its list and you can change your default very quickly. If you press "Launch" your default remains intact so you can escape by pressing the Home button.
