I am a Droid X Newbie

Hello to all, as the title says: I am a Droid X newbie. Just got it and don't know what the heck I have. I'm overwelmed with all the icons and trying to learn my way around. I really don't know what to ask yet so if anyone has any expert advise to provide this 'newbie', I would sincerely appreciate it.
