Today is a bit of a light news day, so we thought we would start the morning off with some humorous and slightly PG-13 trivia. Some clever folks, with probably too much time on their hands, discovered an interesting connection with the names of many of the current Android smartphones. Apparently, a large amount of Android smartphones have names that also happen to be the names of condoms. As you can see from the chart above, a ton of Android smartphone names are also condom names, and there are a few that look like they could be the names of condoms but aren't.
This one is a hilarious head-scratcher for sure... it makes you wonder if the marketing departments of these companies have been spending too much time in the pharmacy department of their local WalMart. Now that we are taking a moment to look at Android names from this perspective, it is pretty easy to think of phones that aren't on this list, but are still a bit risque. How about Sprint's version of the SGS2, the Epic 4G Touch?
It makes you wonder what other possibilities might be in store for future phones... perhaps the LG Epic Slider Magnum Pro Touch II?
