My wife wants to swap out her droid for an iphone and i told her to hold off a bit until she at least gets to see these phones next to each other.

Literally boy (genius) who cried wolf! haha I just got an Incredible to help me wait it out (had an LG Voyager before that, drove me CRAZY!) If it's not out in the 30 day window oh well, it's still a huge upgrade. I think it will be though.

It's 14 for the contract, 30 for the actual device. The people at best buy assured me that that was the case. They completely understood the situation and even said they will replace the screen protector that I bought with a TB one when they come. I feel pretty safe.

It's 14 for the contract, 30 for the actual device. The people at best buy assured me that that was the case. They completely understood the situation and even said they will replace the screen protector that I bought with a TB one when they come. I feel pretty safe.

You don't need root.. you just need 2.2 to find in market and I am in your boat with no video on the OG Droid.. at least I am assuming by your signature you are on the D1.. I am rooted with 2.3 and still get no video..

love my droid but man anyone else have issues with being low on internal memory? having to delete apps every once in a while lol

I think its more like 10000-15000 if you include all the closed threads as well.

ha My guess would be candy mountain.... or the inventory "back room" of Verizon stores since apparently they are/ have been stocking up and I read somewhere they'll have plenty of units and won't sell out? ha sounds like someone mistaken that with the apple pie in the back Verizon's nom noming on...

what I found interesting is the dates each were uploaded/created. Feb 17th and 24th..hmm I'm guessing those were true dates but something went wrong?

I noticed that also. Then again, does anyone really know the procedure and timing that VZ takes to launch a new phone?. If BB hadn't had that preorder on the 6th, I don't think we would be this crazed. This has been like getting the chineese water torture.
