HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

At this point, we're "supposedly" within a week. It WOULD NOT be out of the realm of possibility that Best Buy puts this phone on the street a few days before Verizon. Radio Shack was selling the EVO Shift 2 days before Sprint. I mean, I was with all of you when people were talking about BB having it 2 weeks before Verizon... a week or a few days however isn't crazy talk.

It's Verizon's first 4G LTE phone. Enough said...

Woah people! Calm yourselves. I said its possible. Who knows, maybe BB paid vzw a hefty sum of money to be able to sell it early. I don't think vzw would give them more than a few days, but it's still possible that they have some sort of financial agreement. No one has evidence to the contrary.

In any case, like I just said, I doubt BB will have them tomorrow. It's just too soon.

I'm probably deserving of a ban after posting the same thing so many times.

There is no official release date until it is on the Verizon Website

Some journalist who claim to have inside knowledge have said the 24th, but there had been no hard evidence to back it up.

In fact, the latest REAL evidence implies the 21st which is a screenshot of a best but computer screen saying that is the in stock date.

The only way it will be confirmed is for vzw to put out a press release or if a member of vzw management publically leaks it at the mobile conference going on right now (e.g. he accidentally says something like "when the tbolt is released on monday... oh crap... I mean when it comes out soon"). Something similar happened with the droid x and the company quickly had to put out a press release.

well here it was stated by miami, and i trust his call. more or less all credible sources at our disposal have confirmed 2-24 except Verizon itself.

my thoughts say yes...my lack of wanting to be let down again about this says to wait for it from the horse's mouth once it spits the apple out.

I think it was somewhere back in this thread, but someone had posted a time table of when Verizon announced previous phones like the D1, Inc, X.. If what I rememeber is correct they should announce the TB tomorrow if it is coming next week.. of course only time will tell. Let's just hope this thread can hang on a few more days so we don't have to migrate to another.. I will be glad when this is finally over and as CK said in the last thread like this.. FRAG OUT..
